If Nicola Sturgeon, Kamala Harris, Emma Watson and the majority of ordinary women manage to be women/feminists and have no problem with trans people, I have to ask the obsessive minority who claim my existence is a problem for them: Have you ever considered it might just be you?
Adding my mum, all the women in my family and all my female friends and colleagues into this list along with the 72% of British women who say they are “very” or “quite comfortable” sharing a toilet with a trans woman despite years of anti-trans scaremongering in the British media
If I'm in a room with ten women and 9 have no issue with me but one claims that my inclusion is a problem for her without providing any evidence other than stating that she's a 'real woman' and I'm not, tell me, who is the victim here? Do you kick me out? Or tell her she's wrong?
If she's rude to me and insists on referring to me as 'he' and tells me I'll never look like a 'real' woman, never be able to have children, that men might try and come in and hurt her because of me, that my mere presence is oppressing her, tell me, am I the problem in that room?
