First, let's start with an overview of the project...

Located on former cat 2 lands, the open pit mining site "possesses the potential for multiple large scale mining operations", covering 230 sq km from Crowsnest Pass to Chain Lakes
Oh, and is that the Oldman River on the southern end of it? Why yes, yes it is. 2/8

This is from their investment video -- "We're going to make a lot of money but say bye bye to that mountain"

Atrum themselves in their technical analysis say that Selenium is a high risk. Remember how close this mine is to the Oldman river? (Oh yeah, trout habitat too)
Nothing to see here....

Teck has poured millions down the drain trying to figure out how to clean up Selenium but:
"Currently, a scientifically proven solution to deal with water contamination of this type and at this scale does not exist."

This is just *1* of the MASSIVE open pit coal mines coming to a mountain near you.
Get angry -- these are our mountains and our watershed that the UCP are selling off.

Oh yeah, here's the their scoping study and investment video if anybody wants to see the receipts.
The video is worth a watch if you like dystopian futures.
