With #BellLetsTalk tomorrow, a couple thoughts:

- this is a good thing. Period.
- is there a corporate name attached to it? So what? It has become a day when many people are comfortable sharing their stories. That trumps your disdain over giving Bell "free advertising." 1/3
- Mental health awareness, research and treatment remains dangerously underfunded. #BellLetsTalk raised $7.7 million last year.
- yes, we all know talking about mental health needs to be more than one day a year. That's not a hot take. Nor does it take away from this one day.
-Many people share incredibly useful and potentially life-saving resources on social media on #BellLetsTalk
- Conversation helps reduce stigma.

Let's park the cynicism tomorrow because unlike #BellLetsTalk , it doesn't help anyone.
