There is simply too much excitement in the market right now for me to comfortably hold longs. I am 100% cash. Half of the positions that I was in had exceeded the price target, and the other half were close to B/E, so a reentry won't be difficult.
This euphoria reminds me of crypto in 2017 when everyone and their brother was talking about it. Today, in a political science class, we had a 15-minute discussion on what was happening with $GME. The more people crowding the market, the less I want to be involved.
From a technical perspective, seeing the markets break key support levels for the first time in weeks is certainly a red flag. I may be premature to assume the worst, but I feel nice and relaxed on the sidelines. More updates to come.
