Here's 5 players who I think are underrated or not talked about. They add marginal value to their teams. (This is mainly for guys who aren't talked about enough or severely underrated. For example Mikal Bridges isn't underrated anymore, or Vucevic isn't necessarily underrated)
Kyle Kuzma

People don't focus on Kuzma's improvements. They often call him trash or only talk about him in trade talks. He's shooting 38% on 4 3s a game and is a great off ball player. He shoots 41% on c&s attempts and is a good movement shooter, cutter and play finisher.
He's also averaging 2.1 offensive rebounds/75 which is amazing (99th percentile for SFs).
His defense has also improved a lot, more paint activity, better team defense and IQ and good man defense too. He also offers some rim protection and is a good shot blocker. A positive on d.
Richaun Holmes

Holmes is insanely efficient (70%) and has amazing touch around the basket. He shoots 78% from 0-3 ft, 49% from 3-10 ft and 78.6% from 10-16ft!! These splits will go down but his efficiency is absurd. He's one of the better switching bigs and defenders in general.
He's a great roll man and also a good passer who makes good reads on the roll and when stationary. I think he's a top 10 center today due to his hyper efficient offense, off ball game, defensive abilities and versatility.
Monte Morris

Morris continues to be one of the best backup PGs in the league. A very solid ball handler, especially in the pick and roll and a good playmaker. He's shooting 36% from 3 attempts and is really efficient overall. His assists to bad pass ratio is also amazing, 11!
Nicolas Batum

Batum has had a career revival in LA. He's basically good at everything, 43% shooter, good complementary or tertiary ball handler and playmaker and a versatile, high IQ defender. Him being able to do everything a player can do makes him a strong positive for LAC.
Yuta Watanabe

Yuta isn't really known to everyone but he's a great player. He doesn't play a lot of minutes for the Raptors but has been a real positive when he's played. He shoots 37.5% from 3 and is a very good offensive rebounder.
Defensively, he's a very smart, active and a good team defender and he offers rim protection due to his size and length. He's also a good pop threat and can make good passes, especially in transition. He's only playing 11 mins right now and I fully expect that to go up.
There's nothing special about these guys, there's many more valuable underrated role players in the league. I just decided to write about a few players who deserve more recognition.
