Which means that when things do *not* come easily--or even when, God forbid, they're HARD--the first inclination will be that those things are not worth the effort.

Because doing hard things is how we improve.

Some of the biggest career advice I can give is that you have to embrace being uncomfortable. If you're only doing things that are easy and routine, you'll never learn new skills. The uncomfortable is where the change happens.
