Hate the saying “people don’t really change.” At 16, I woke up from a Prozac induced haze clocking close to 300 pounds. 18, I accepted the life of a high school drop out addicted to morphine and junk food. 22, I’d transformed myself into a college athlete with a chip on
his shoulder and at 33, I’m a plant based runner continually working on understanding my emotions and triggers. None of this is easy, I’ve had my fair share of set backs, endured pain and loss I wouldn’t wish on anyone. One things for sure though.

You change if you want to.
I wish I could tell my younger self that this idea that change isn’t possible is too easily accepted. Whatever well you’re drowning in has a stone you can grab on to, might be hard to see through all though darkness but it starts with reaching for that one small protruding ledge
I try to keep my Twitter to just football but I see so many people struggling and I struggle every day, I just want anyone who needs this to know you’re not alone mate, never will be.
