Hey, fam. So after the consultation was done. I was in too much pain from the physical examination and samples he took to send to the lab to even come back and write an update. To deal with the type of endometriosis, not just the stage but type. Because it is affecting my nerves and kidney etc. He has said to me my issue is very intricate and he would need to likely do 2 separate surgeries because of the extent of #endometriosis. He may even have to
Go inside the nerve itself to remove endometriosis present there. My pain is likely to get worse before getting better only because it will irritate the nerves dealing with it. He said he would need at least 300 mins in theatre to remove as much as possible,gain an understanding
Of where my issues are because it's hard to tell on a scan. Dr has also said my kidney on the left is enlarged by 2 cm in length and 1 cm in width. It also has an obstruction inside likely to endometriosis so these have to be addressed beforehand.

Going to be an easy road to recovery, because there is no cure and hopefully this will at least alleviate the extent and fatally of leaving it untreated. Dr has stated a surgery to this extent can be between R180-R250k each. So it is important to try and get some
Hospital cover to at least help with costs at hospital stays because that can be very expensive. He also assured me, he may not be able to solve all my issue because he himself is not a specialist in the nerve related issues but will do his best to assist me. He was so kind.
