It’s a great day to clear the common misconception that just because you are paying for something in installments, you can’t claim to own it or say you own it till your last payment is made.
IT’S A THREAD 👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾 https://twitter.com/bikindob/status/1352097227725041664
To address this, we would touch on 3 major points;
Credit scoring — Not everyone is qualified to receive financing, so if you do, it’s only because due diligence has been done and the company has no doubt that you are capable of paying up. So whatever you get, Flex it! It’s yours
Second thing is, companies wouldn’t give you access to properties on first installment payment if they didn’t want you to have that ownership confidence. The reason you get your house at the initial payment and not midway or at the end is because the companies want you to own it!
Lastly, flexible payment plan is a global strategy. Advanced countries have long normalized it. So, part of being forward thinking and progressive is to embrace the idea of credit.
So, the idea that you have to make a complete down payment before you can claim ownership of anything is so 1860 and therefore doesn’t apply in our today’s world.
With these few points of ours we hope we have been convince you and not confuse you 😉.
