I’m absolutely baffled by dave portnoy, erika nardini & the barstool brand.
- Takes ZERO responsibility & refuses to recognize their documented racist, sexist, homophobic and other discriminatory behaviour
- Only line of defence is having a female executive

- They are proud that their harassment has put a spotlight on the NWHL & they’re crediting themselves for its success on social media. Disgusting. (both erika & dave have publicly made this comment numerous times - watch their recent videos)

You think a player should go to jail for calling a company out on their racist behaviours, but you perpetuate stereotypes and reinforce extremist ideologies.

And jail?! Are you kidding me?!

Just bc you have a white (yes, let’s not forget that) female ceo doesn’t automatically make all of your actions ethical. She does NOT exempt you from discriminatory business practices just bc she’s a woman.

Your solution is to burn down a thriving league simply out of spite.
You think the right thing to do here is to silence a league that has worked tirelessly to build women’s hockey & women working in sport, for your own capital gain.

Your entire argument is that erika & barstool are not sexist & supporters of women’s sports but your proposed solution contradicts that. You want to use your money & corrupt power to eliminate thousands of jobs, livelihoods, diverse voices, & bully women’s hockey into submission
