Wholeheartedly agree and have empathy with this message.

I started slowly being 'radicalised' from late 2018: a near complete loss in faith in market economics and seeing through the bs of the 'free speech' debate opened my mind to more honest politics. https://twitter.com/JSkeaping/status/1354341458850041857
Perhaps its bc I got interested in politics when I was like 10 is why I had basically treated it like a game for so long. But after seeing people I had been friends be so callous towards people who were on the streets and towards minorities, my guilt kicked into hyper drive.
(As well I had also read about the failures of capitalism from a Tory perspective and also was doing a module on Thatcherism, which acted as a gateway)
After leaving the tories when Boris got in, it was during the summer of the climate protests. I saw these brave people demanding the government do something, and after looking at reality, realised they were the right side. More soul searching at uni Freshers, I found the Greens.
So it took over a year (and have been increasingly radical ever since I guess), but all that guilt and anger I hope has been put to good use. To actually help the world.
