3. then you need to offer your effort to help them release and promote anything you make for them (on lease ofc, but this includes the free one you will be giving them). be their label. that's basically what producers are (or should be anyways)
4. ONLY AFTER this, can you ask someone to buy beats from you, and actually expect them to even consider it.

6. u find leads in cold traffic sources. think of these 
sources as the market where you set up your shop (beat store) to sell the fruits (beats) you grow on your farm (DAW). You have to give out free samples in the marketplace (Unless you have the best fruit @MetroBoomin)

7. ppl will test your fruit one day, but they may not buy it that same day. but after many free samples, they may realize that like your fruit. If u notice this, give them a whole apple to take home. tell them how to wash it and tell them the best foods to eat it with.
8. Then, maybe... JUST MAYBE. the next time they are looking for apples... they'll remember you. Try to think about why that may be.

10. Display your beats (fruits) beautifully and expertly so that you can attract and hook as much of this cold traffic as possible.
