I was up in the night filled with rage over the Toronto Sun trying to smear @DFisman for his advocacy for a safe learning environment for kids and a safe working environment for educators.

It is inconceivable that anyone in the government was unaware of this.

Someone from the government must have decided that Fisman needed to be a target and shared info with the Sun as a scoop.

It was observed by the wonderful @CityCynthia that there is a pattern of attacks on medical and scientific experts advocating for a better COVID19 response.
Cue my rage.
Attacking opposition in this way is something we see in authoritarian regimes.

To see the Ford Cons using this strategy in Ontario should scare the hell out of all of us. There is no place for this in a democracy. This is the sort of behaviour that took the US down a dark path.

We already know from the documents gathered by the Star last week that Lecce & Ford ignored the advice they received from experts last summer. Yesterday’s attack on Fisman is another example of ignoring advice & attacking the messenger.
This government is dangerous and just go.
