before i started following UK politics it was pretty much received wisdom that Corbyn was a decent nice guy but bad at his job -- I felt like maybe he was a liability. and that's not even to say that Corbyn didn't make serious mistakes -- it's more just that when you actually follow the events and then contrast what happened with the way it was portrayed in UK media, you realized just how deeply insane and delusional the coverage was
but my overall take is that if you only consume UK media at a surface level without any deeper investigation you will be completely misled and also driven insane. Corbyn Derangement Syndrome is one manifestation of this but there are many, many others
