Middle-aged men are more likely to die by suicide than any other age group.

Today, we're launching a new handbook which explores what wellbeing groups can do to appeal to and engage men earlier, before they reach a crisis point.

Wellbeing groups, which are often based around hobbies or shared activities, can provide men with social connections and a sense of purpose.

We asked men what they wanted from these groups, and created a handbook with our findings.
Our new handbook contains key principles for successful wellbeing groups for men, including:

1. Use activities to facilitate conversation

2. Be welcoming and accessible

3. Foster meaningful relationships over time.
