If you are thinking of starting a business, then read this thread.

THREAD STARTS
1. Business is about money. That's it. Most young entrepreneurs picture businessmen as people rolling in Audis and sitting in a corner office. Those are by-products not the purpose. You are new, focus on small profits and small steps. You CANNOT afford giant leaps yet.
2. Your target consumer. If you have a business idea, there is a 99% chance that somebody has the same product in the market. That is not a problem but a blessing. Learn from their mistakes.
3. Addition to point 2, focus on getting the consumer the thing of his value. You might be the best salesman in the world but if the consumer does not want to buy it, he does not want to buy it. Simple. Don't shove your product down anyone's throat.
4 . Always deal in good faith.
