Why Carabao Cup is bigger than the Champions League. A thread:
It has 92 teams competing for the title. UCL has 32 teams so less competition.
23 teams have won the Carabao Cup. Only 13 teams have won the UCL so it's definitely a farmers league.
The Carabao Cup has a title sponsor while nobody wants to sponsor the title of that tinpot league.
You need to win 8+ knockout matches to win the Carabao Cup but you need to win only 3 ties and 1 final to win UCL. UCL is much easier and involves luck rather than consistency.
UCL is getting dissolved soon because of the introduction of European Super League while the Carabao Cup will continue for all my life. Absolutely deserved both of these.
Corruption is synonymous to UCL. Every horrible refereeing decision in history was in the UCL. You see clubs being associated with UEFA, like Uefalona and Uefadrid. Carabao Cup is completely neutral.
The likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Inter and Ac Milan never have qualified for this prestigious cup competition.
