Our government should have been able to wrench power from Boris the moment they knew thousands were going to die under his guidance. Our government should have done something actually meaningful about it rather than sit there sending scathing tweets about it.

Our entire government failed. Not one man or one party or one cabal of bastards. Our government. As a whole. Because politics is fundamentally broken and was never about protecting the citizens and always about enriching ourself.

We will continue to have these problems if we think getting rid of one bad egg will fix it. Because its rotten eggs all the way down, rotten eggs that are turned rotten by a rotten system that we need to address before more people die.
