If women are in a biologically defined and protected "glass ceiling" category (for example Kamala Harris) then why can't they defend themselves as a protected category? When women were denied the vote, jobs, etc. they were denied it because of their biological category. (Thread)

When Title IX was enacted in 1973 it was with the understanding that sex discrimination was not to be practiced against biological women who have well noted differences especially in sports categories.

Either biological women are a diverse & unique category entitled to all the benefits of that category or they aren't. This has huge real life consequences, since biological women have needed and STILL need protection from misogyny, sexism and access to fair competition worldwide
