On this Day in 2018..Indian Team won the Test on one of the most treacherous pitch I have ever seen.. 2-0 down to come on this track and defeat the Proteas side in the Bull Ring was the ultimate thing all Indians will always be proud off..
Few special things that i remember from that test:-
*) Kohli's gorgeous strokeplay in both the innings of a Test..
*) Pujara calm & composed fifty.. Got his fifty in 173 balls which was the slowest of his Test Career back then..
*) Rahane counter attacking knock in 2nd innings

Rahane was left out from the squad in the first two tests.. He replaced Rohit in this Test.. Got out cheaply in the first innings.. But came out blazing in the first innings when India required the most..
*) Bhuvaneshwar Kumar efforts with the bat & ball was simply outstanding.. He was adjudged 'MOM' of the Test.. He was also left out from the 2nd test at Centurion.. so he was also making his comeback.. and what a terrific come back it was..
Sometimes I wonder if Bhuvi would not have been there who would have stitched those valuable lower order runs with Rahane.. His batting contribution in that match will always be remembered forever..
*) Bumrah special deliveries to knock out ABD in the second innings.. When he came out to bat after departure of Amla.. Africa were in a very good position.. ABD was the major difference between the two sides in the first two tests.. So getting him out cheaply was the boost..
India needed badly..
*) Faf shouldering arms in both the innings of a Test match and getting cleaned up by an nip backer..
*) Amla he batted brilliantly in both the innings.. He was not in a good form in the first two tests.. He changed his technique little bit..

Shuffled a lot more as he usually does.. With those two innings he proved that "Class is Permanent.. Form is Temporary"

that was the most courageous things to see..
*) The gesture which Kohli gave from the Dressing room when Indian tail were batting in the second innings.. One of the ball rise viciously and got Shami on the arm.. Kohli just signaled stay there mate.. We'll give them the same..

medicine.. He was quite confident of his side bowling firepower..That signal gave a strong message to everyone that this Indian Team is not afraid of any track.. whether it is the most fast & bouncy one.. We're here to compete & win..
Before the GABBA Test victory which happened a week ago.. Joburg Test victory was the most special I saw on the foreign soil.. Now it's GABBA one at first followed by a Joburg Test victory..
