Tomorrow is the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, so I’ll say two things: never again means never again for anyone, and if all you know about the Holocaust you learned in Western schools, you don’t know much about the Holocaust.
Yeah, most schools teach you that there were 6 million murdered Jews, but they never mention the millions of others, or the influence of the Herero and Nama genocide or of slavery and genocide of Black and indigenous people that the US committed.
You learn about the Holocaust in that way because it makes the US and the West seem like the good guys. You learn about Anne Frank, but you never learn that the US refused to let her family flee here as refugees.
Many people will say that schools downplay antisemitism, but many don't. Instead they distort it. You learn that it happened because of European antisemitism, but it went away from white people after the war and now we have to support Israel.
