@JoeBiden just released his position on strengthening relationships w/ tribal nations.

My personal response: #ConsultationIsNotConsent.

And...
There is nothing new in this pres. memo regarding tribal nations. Its a rehash of Obama's policy on consultation. A policy that [ahem] still approved:
• DAPL
• KXL southern leg
• Oak Flat
• Fracking expansion
• Fossil Fuel Exports
• etc
It must be said: Returning to the status quo of Obama's policy regarding tribal nations, albeit far better than Trumps, does not help further Indigenous sovereignty & self-determination in the grand scope of things.
We must have serious support of Free, Prior and Informed Consent and UNDRIP as baselines for US Federal - Tribal Nation relationships.
