Directly, or indirectly, movie theaters can be owned by ‘foreign entities’, 4 hr from BOM.

A ticket for an empty seat is easily picked up by illegal cash trying to get out of the country – actual audience not necessary.

Hence Bad films fill up theaters!

Higher the bandwidth, the faster the download

More the empty seats, the greater is the gusher of illicit cash that can be transferred.

So actors that are bad continue to get chances – to create empty seats!

And hey – money needs to flow *into* the country as well. The empty seats in the theaters overseas are a perfect catchment zone for foreign money that needs to get in.
