(It *may* be "his uncle" but...really?)
(Before you try to figure it out, it's the word before a person's name signifying that person's relationship to the traveler.)
Still not the worst I've seen, tho.
Now. On the flip side. You also get to spend time looking at beauts like these.
So, with assists from @GenealogyKaye and a few others, we're going with my original "uncle" suspicion, written over another word which may have been "husband."
