My advice: HELL NO to the idea of Black Rock City drawing tens of thousands to a region w a fragile hospital system and Native community (hit the hardest) nearby!

9 .For someone who's been 5X to Burning Man, I am hyper critical of it.
Yet, it's given me a LOT! And taught me so much abt the desert! And art! And sex! It's given me new ways to be & see!
It cultivated new ways I think about radical community.

10. I DO think there should be safe Burning Man events this summer!
Burning Man can be anywhere, especially in the summer!
Ppl can have regional burns near where they live.
Drive to them. Be outside. Make some art. Burn shit!
But w modest sized groups, outdoors only.

11. If Burning Man is as radical as it claims to be and as committed to decomodification, the event needn't happen in Nevada. The org can encourage ppl to live out the 10 principles where they are. Engage in radical community & spontaneity & celebration (outside!) where ppl are.
