Trend 1: Retail investors are playing a much larger role today. Historically, only institutional capital moved markets. Now you have to account for power of Robinhood and Reddit. (2/4)
Trend 2: Internet fluent spokesmen ( @elonmusk @stoolpresidente @chamath) are significantly more effective at selling a vision to retail investors than traditional CEO’s who only know how to speak earnings to analysts.

Why aren’t public companies marketing themselves aggressively to retail investors? Every apparel brand followed Nike after they made Jordan the face of their brand. My 2021 prediction: smart public companies will follow $Penn and hire/acquire CEOs who are also Influencers. (4/4)
