I was 22 yrs old in 2014...just getting started w/ Vibedration & still in college
I was selling on Shopify, ebay & etsy
At the time I was averaging 2-3 sales / day. ~$50
I knew if I could get a private label deal it would give me extra cash to expand my product line

Insomniac responded & I met w/ them at their office in LA
I was able to do a deal with them to produce 15,000 units private label..meaning I made the packs for them with their logo on it. Vibedration name was only on the inside product tag
This deal made me about ~150k profit

Doing so much volume gave me negotiating power w/ suppliers.
I was able to "piggy back" private label orders...meaning I could make 100 units of one design for vibedration and the factory didn't care about MOQ. My prices were also lower.

With the private label deal I also negotiated with them to be a sponsor/vendor at events like electric forest, beyond wonderland, edc & others
On good days at a festival we would generate $30 in sales...our vending fee was small bc of the relationship made doing private label

When you're first starting and you have limited cash...you need to get scrappy and creative with your brand.
