The Women for America First cross-country tour spent the weeks before its Jan. 6 event spreading election lies and, on occasion, calling for violence.

WFAF has both a non-profit and a for-profit arm. The for-profit had Dan Backer as a registered agent. He was removed the day our story was published.

The non-profit received money from a pro-Trump dark money group America First Policies, which CBS first reported.
WFAF mobilized quickly after the election. They started a huge Stop The Steal group on FB, which was eventually taken down. Beginning in late November, they hit over 20 cities across the country.

The message was always the same: The election was stolen from Trump.
