You're gonna be hearing, "Small businesses will suffer under a $15 minimum wage" a lot more, especially since the other arguments are thoroughly debunked.

Because sheep gotta sheep.
And it's an easier argument, cause the answer isn't "said" simple (even though it is). Things like, "It'll cause inflation" and "They'll replace jobs with machines" get shot down easy... Cause those things happen anyways. A lot. And a low minimum wage doesn't stop that.
"Small businesses will be hurt" sounds good on paper... If you ignore the incredibly obvious fact that everyone having increased income would in turn mean more income at those businesses... Because people will have more money to spend.
Of course, the people who argue against it also prefer to support larger companies anyways. Why? Cause they make things cheaper... And people don't have a lot of money.

DO YOU SEE A CONNECTION.
Not only would small businesses be fine with a sudden raise if EVERYONE was making more money, they'd quickly be BETTER for it.

But politicians make more money from corporations than their actual jobs, so they don't want people to think that.
Anyways, if you don't support a MUCH higher minimum wage in the U.S. (and right now, not 5 years from now), you're saying you don't care about small businesses.

Pretty anti-american, if you ask me.
