Some of them actually entered the Capital.

Some of the craziest and most corrupt people in this country serve in partisan state legislatures across this country, and unlike state-wide offices, they're protected by gerrymandering.
In Ohio, the former Speaker of the House was indicted by the DOJ in a massive bribery scheme and still retained his seat because it was so gerrymandered he didn't have an opponent.
I'm just saying, if you want the AZ legislature picking the next Senator, get ready for Senator Ward.
