In a FBI/DoJ call, the FBI DC assistant director in charge said they have received more than 200,000 tips from the public trying to identify participants in the attack on the Capitol.
They have identified 400 individuals and have arrested135

The FBI assistant director in charge said they have over 150 federal cases charged and over 50 superior court cases. Almost all of the 150 cases involve felonies and can carry up to 20years in prison
They have issued more than 500 combined search warrants and grand jury subpoenas
Acting U.S. Attorney Michael Sherwin said they are also looking into individuals who were targeting members of the media to commit assault and violence
"It's the height of hypocrisy: some of these first amendment protesters targeted and directly attacked members of the media"
30-40 cases are related to assaults on officers and they have created a special team devoted to investigating the death of Officer Sicknick
They are looking into individuals involved with the Proud Boys, the Three Percenters, the Oath Keepers, but added "there were plenty of people who were not affiliated with these groups" who took part in the Capitol attack.
