EU Council President Charles Michel raised the prospect of legal action against pharmaceutical companies.
He said:

“We can use all the legal means at our disposal for this.
“The EU intends to enforce the contracts signed by the pharmaceutical industry.”

First the EU have been slow and haven’t even approved vaccines for companies they are threatening legal actions. Second those contracts will be on “best effort” terms, you can’t sue a company for not bailing you out of failure because they couldn’t, they have all tried. 2/

The EU have boosted (and tweeted to this) that they put cost of the vaccine above actually getting any vaccine approved and purchased. They can’t deflect the blame, this is the defining moment where the citizens “wake up” and see the EU as we did and do. 3/

The innovation and science isn’t in the EU, they have nothing and have shown a massive failure on the production of a vaccine themselves, with Germany having a massive funded 2 projects and both proved useless and have now been abandoned (EU money wasted). 4/

The French Vaccine doesn’t look like it’s going to get through any nations approval and isn’t doing well. (The EU waited as long as they could on AstraZenica because they wanted a member states vaccine). 5/

Yes, there is a lot of production of vaccine happening in EU states, that doesn’t mean they “own” it as they have made the bold decision to start stopping (or are going to) vaccines produced in the EU leaving the EU. 6/

That’s going to put a lot of manufacturers of opening any production activity in the EU if they will just “steal it” and claim “it’s ours because it was made here” (that includes pharmaceutical companies. 7/

Pro remain activists have come out and stated just how desperate and disgraceful this has been from the EU, if you’re defending the EU, you need to take a long look in the mirror, they are wrong on every deflection they’ve attempted. 8/

To end, bring on the court cases, that’s just what the EU needs, lots of losses in court showing it was wrong and it failed to act in time! They’ll judge themselves to the inevitable breakup that this pandemic IMO has set in motion.
