I got yer voting guide right here:
Let’s start with two characters that can’t be separated, Sam & Roberto. Also Sam can’t be an X-Man without being an absentee parent. These loveable dorks are non-contenders. Don’t even consider voting for them. 1/

You really want J-HiX writing Polaris when she’s in such good hands with @mymonsterischic ? Polaris stays with X-Factor. Forget voting for her. 2/
Likewise, Forge is an essential part of @Benjamin_Percy ‘s X-Force. You can’t have him, Cyclops. He’s making goofy spy gadgets elsewhere. 3/
Banshee is a has-been, literally. He’s a classic member of the X-Men and doesn’t need to come back to the roster in this new and exciting time. Let him go on spy missions with his new bud, Unus. 4/
Now things get more interesting. Guido fits the mold of “big guy that stands in the back of group shots,” but he doesn’t have the same level of depth as his competition here. He’s off the list. 5/
Tabitha is too anti-authority to fit in with the central team. The heck if she’s taking orders from Scott. I want her causing trouble elsewhere, like X-Force. This party girl is a no. 6/
Which brings us to our actual contenders. First up is Armor, who, pre-HoXPoX was very much being positioned as a leading candidate for joining the team but was stymied at being sidelined. She’s already been in play alongside the greats in this run. She’s a great pick. 7/
While currently being relegated to aging whiskey, Tempo’s history as a revolutionary and her time-based powers make her an ideal fit for this era and for Hickman’s writing style. Absolutely a finalist and well worth considering. 8/
But the hearts want what the hearts want, & how could I not vote for our former Morlock, erstwhile X-member whose tragic history took macabre turns under Spurrier’s pen. I selfishly just want more of this character, and I’d love to see J-HiX’s take on this next stage of her life
A problem with this vote is that aside from Scott & Jean, and presumably A Wolverine (be it Logan or Vaulted Laura) we don’t know the rest of the roster, and team chemistry is HUGE when putting an X-Team together. For sheer story potential, I think Tempo is your best bet. 10/
If there is no “big guy” on the team yet, Armor is a must. She fulfills the role and brings with it a sense that students can continue to be promoted to the big leagues. 11/
Me, I’m sticking with my fave, Marrow, who works especially well if there ISN’T a Wolverine-type on the team. I see lots of story potential in exploring her life on Krakoa and addressing her past trauma. 12/
Whoever you choose, I hope you do YOUR CIVIC DUTY and vote starting tomorrow at noon!
Quick update: I was reminded that Armor is needed in space by SWORD and Al Ewing. This should immediately disqualify her from eligibility. That means it’s down to
