2. While the speed of vaccinations is increasing, supply from the federal government remains extremely limited:
3. For at least the near future, we expect demand to continue to far exceed supply. We are hoping the federal administration will be able to keep its pledge(s) to increase production.
4. To date, providers in Maryland have administered 396,661 doses of COVID-19 vaccines, including 75.9% of first doses.

The 7-day average of doses administered is 18,715—an increase of 54% over the last two weeks.
5. The state is focused on building the broadest possible network of vaccinators to serve the public.
