Investigating the Benghazi attacks was important. We needed to know exactly what happened, and draw lessons to improve security for the future.

Investigating the Capitol attack is important for the same reasons: Know what happened, deal with those responsible, learn lessons.
If Congress does that and Dems manufacture additional investigations for political reasons, that'd be wrong.
Not investigating at all? Also wrong.
