I’m thinking about the conversation around silencing queer creators who don’t do queer “right”, the conversation around gender bends and making how you create a moral imperative so that it can be socially moderated

Every time “this is misogynist” comes up around people in queer spaces my suspicious little ears perk right up

Because they take issues with the porn industry (and there ARE real trafficking and abuse angles to discuss but that’s not the point) they say “some kinks are bad actually because they oppress women” to make SWERFism a moral imperative

This is a 101 tactic to manipulate the direction of social conversations and when we say that the young queer people are “parroting terf talking points uncritically” when they venture down “some kinks are bad actually but make it fandom” this is what we are talking about
