Everything apart from:
Attend initial COBRA meetings
Close ports
Require quarantine for incoming ppl
Provide enough PPE
Lock down hard/fast enough
Close schools early enough
Build an effective track & trace system
Some of these they STILL haven't done.
Things the government *did* do:
Ignored the science
Gave ÂŁ22bn to mates for track & trace
ÂŁXXbn more for PPE contracts
Pushed 'Eat Out to Help Out' which triggered 2nd wave
Ignored the rules when it suited them (Barnard Castle)
Blamed the public
Pushed the idea of 'herd immunity' against all credible evidence
Repeatedly ignored Sage's advice
Prioritised landlords and corporations over people
Dithered over furlough scheme
Withheld information on mutated strain
Allowed schools to go back for ONE DAY
There's so much more but that's off the top of my head.
The government has created chaos by treating a public health emergency like an ongoing PR challenge.
They don't care, other than to siphon public money into private hands.
And the @stjohnambulance is currently recruiting 30,000 volunteers to administer the vaccination programme - something which SHOULD be government funded but isn't. And the government is YET AGAIN going against scientific advice about the two-dose course.
But loudly proclaiming xx number of over 80s are vaccinated when they're not. This is a flat-out lie. They've had the first dose only. They won't be fully vaccinated until they've had the second dose and that's not a 'get out of jail free card' either.
Hancock keeps shouting about this and nobody with a big enough platform is pulling him up on it.

Meanwhile, in another island nation.... https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=300711957590459
We see you Johnson. Hancock. Gove. Patel. Williamson.
All of you.
I'd say you have 100,000 deaths on your collective conscience; but we all know you don't have one.
