I know we’re all worried about Thursday’s ep but I think it’s important to remember (for me at least) that TM9 have taken huge risks before and have been in really dangerous situations before. Some of those risks paid off, some didn’t. They’ve lost before.

The high richter’s house? Big fail. But then [dwarf whose name I’ve forgotten] blew himself and the high richter up and TM9 were able to escape.

Darktow scheme? HUGE risk, but it ultimately worked in their favor.

That first confrontation with Lorenzo? Very bad, for obvious reasons.

Showing up in the bright queens throne room unexpectedly & facing imminent imprisonment, possibly death? Produce the beacon & end up gaining her favor.

Following Obann into the kings cage? Racing Obann to retrieve the inevitable ends heart? Maybe save Yasha? High risk, no reward.

Facing Obann again in the chantry? Even higher stakes, this time ending with TM9 victorious.

Trying to end a war? Trying to ingratiate themselves with certain members of the Cerberus Assembly? Reading a mysterious book in the hopes of gaining enough knowledge to possibly figure out how to prevent Lucien from summoning the living city?

They’ve been in over their heads so many times before. Were all those earlier examples just as high stakes as what’s happening now? At the time? Absolutely. It’s scary for sure but they’ve survived.

Not sure how to end this thread, just wanted to remind myself, and maybe others, to not lose hope just because this situation is really tense and scary
