Great new study out by @NeumarkDN and Peter Shirley @nber. This should change the current debate about the minimum wage effects since it gives a very even handed account of what economists have found over the past few decades. These are the estimates they examined.
I believe this review will put to sleep some of the rank awfulness that infected #econtwitter over the past week.

I found the elasticity estimates across categories especially interesting. Here are elasticity estimates from studies of less educated workers.

Economics would be a better discipline, and would better serve policymakers if we had more studies like this one.
