Want a little grammar reminder? No? Too bad. There's a little disconnect that American English speakers have between the words "I" and "me." Someone, a long time ago, told you it was rude to use the word me in certain circumstances so now there's a lot of incorrect use.
Simple trick. If you would use the word "me" if it was just you, that's how it goes in the conjunction. Example? "Pick me. Choose me. Love me."
This tells us that you would say "pick my friend and me, choose my friend and me, love my friend and me." You wouldn't say "choose I" so don't say "choose my friend and I." Now. Let's do the word "I"
This tells us that you would say "My friend and I like it, my friend and I love it, my friend and I want some more of it."
The rude part was never the "me." It was always putting yourself before the other party in the sentence.
I'm glad I got that off my chest.
