Khalistanis destroyed the industry in Punjab in 1980/90s. Now they have destroyed agriculture- their farm produce has very few customers except Govt PDS which buy second rate stuff. For high class agriculture produce end users go to other states. They have become lazy & entitled https://twitter.com/TheSumeetGill/status/1354075030305595393
The brain washed dude just proved my point and blocked me. A huge majority of Punjab people are acting like ostriches - entitled people who have been supping on huge subsidies of electricity and assured returns. Go to any factory in Punjab and you will find that less than 1%
is Punjabi. All first-line work is manned by people from UP, Bihar, Uttarakhand, HP or Nepal. Punjabi youth just want to be managers or even better without experience because they are special. I have seen restaurants where not one person is a local. Factories manned entirely by
non Punjabis.Almost every farm is subcobtrated and the subcontractors are the ones working on the land and barely making ends meet while the absentee landlord walks away with the cream and playing victim in Delhi. One could go on. It is the horrible Governance of Badals & Captain
No one wants to start a factory in Punjab. Amritsar was the most important industrial city of United Punjab before partition. It had some of the best Woollen and Textile Mills.Khalistan movement destroyed industry there. Ludhiana & Gobindgarh have more sick factories than working
than those running at profit. The first priority of every successful Punjab entrepreneur is to expand by building a factory outside Punjab or build one in a place like Rajpura which is next to Haryana. Even Sikh entrepreneurs want ensure growth by getting out of Punjab
