One of the biggest hurdles is learning what eco-friendly REALLY means!
The terms you should really familiarize with are Recycled/Recyclable, Biodegradable, and Compostable.

I touch on these terms & how they will affect your longterm sustainability goals when choosing supplies.
There are so many different options when it comes to shipping packages.

Remember, having any ecofriendly packaging is great -- but do you know how to properly dispose of your packaging? And, most importantly, how easy is it for your customers to properly dispose of?
I've been working on this post for a LONG TIME and it has a lot of valuable information for my fellow small business owners! It is, however, still a work in progress.

Is there anything you'd like to see on the resource list? Do you have a supplier you'd like to recommend?
Feel free to ask any questions and I'll do my best to answer or point you in the right direction.

I also ask that you please share with your friends - the more folks offering some sort of sustainable packaging, the better!

[RTs appreciated]
I feel the need to mention: sustainable packaging can more expensive and is not as accessible to everyone.

Don’t take this thread as pressure or judgement if you don’t offer sustainable packaging!

Big corp are FAR more damaging to the environment & need to be held accountable.
