The global fintech founder community only has 7% of women. That’s right, 7%!

Here are 5 ways to change that:
1. Leverage more fintech operators to become scouts. Folks like @julieverhage @maiab @rohinip @calanthiaaa @AlexisZhu are super smart about these spaces and are the perfect folks to cut through the noise to identify actual innovation.
2. Help facilitate lady founder connections. For every 10 fintech founders I met, less than 1 is a woman. Having a mind trust here can help navigate dynamics that few can relate to. If you have access to a fintech founder pool, take the lead here!
3. Make 5 high-value intros. I’ve benefited most by random folks connecting me to other random folks. You can change this equation by simply creating a goal of creating 5 valuable connections a month. Like the time @fran_hauser connected me to @lestanberry - it was magical!
4. Elevate. I am so eternally grateful to folks who shout us out in small ways! Just like @jomayra_herrera and @gimmedadeetz did this week to @domm when he was asking for female founders to know.
5. Support the supporters. @AskZetaApp would not have made it this far without folks like @LeslieFeinzaig or @DennJoyce or @sarahbach who believed in us when we had minimal traction & no background in fintech. These folks have funds - write checks into them, join their syndicates
