Adult content creators are in the middle of a major change in Twitter policies regarding their accounts, and as a consequence, many accounts have been suspended/deleted since January 1. I did some basic analyses of @AmberlyPSO's data from a set of 5,000 accounts she follows. https://twitter.com/AmberlyPSO/status/1353971284799934466
. @AmberlyPSO is both a creator & a consultant in the adult content space, & her insights guide the work of many in the field. To her credit, she created a python tool that enables her to track the status of about 5,000 accounts so she was able to notice/quantify this crackdown.
I played around with @AmberlyPSO's numbers, and Twitter goes from suspending about 6 accounts/day in 2020, to suspending over 32/day in 2021 -- which means since January 1, 4-5% of the TOTAL accounts she follows have been suspended EVERY week.

Twitter has gotten tough.
What's regrettable is that it is difficult to know exactly what puts an adult account in Twitter's crosshairs. @AmberlyPSO has some helpful suggestions for those worried about the consequences of this heightened scrutiny by Twitter.

Be careful out there, folks.

Tweet safe.
