Obv there will be lots we missed or couldn’t cover (let’s just say an actual inquiry would have considerably more words & time, not to mention powers to requisition evidence/call witnesses). But it’s so galling that the big questions won’t get answers...
...until it’s too late to make use of them. Formal inquiries are disruptive, but there have to be ways of govt learning from mistakes & sharing what it learned publicly in a crisis as long running as I think this will be
