When we are talking about darkness, we are referring to all the darkness from which man must come out, there is no other way. The greatest darkness nowadays are polytheism and atheism. Polytheism means that human considers the creatures of the God as God and

starts demanding everything from own made God(s) instead of the real God.
And atheism means that human denies the existence of God.

This is an insult to the glory of the One who created all the things.

AND When we are talking about Light, we are referring the only light which has the capability to take us out from all Darkness. That light is in the phrase, "There is no God But Allah"
This is the only light which can show the right
