tl;dr a trans student (ashlee) who was diagnosed with gender dysphoria made a post on how her school has been treating her, threatening to expell her if she continued hormone therapy.
moe (ministry of education) also intervened saying that "students in moe schools are under our control, and we have every right and say over their treatment".
the thing is that moe and the school had agreed to work with her on her situation (allowing her to grow her hair) but suddenly disapproved? for what?
moe also issued a statement that was denying their involvement with the situation and also misgendering ashlee
