4/n In the case of Nishan Sahib, the flagpole itself is covered with fabric, ends with a two-edged dagger (khanda) on top. The emblem on the flag depicts a double-edged sword called a khanda (☬). And the flag is always triangular. Look at this flag #lalquila #KisanParade

8/n As a patriot, as a proud Indian..I think that while the fort may be politically sacrosanct and inviolable..even with the protesters breaching its walls..it still stands as a structure that belongs to the people of India..as a public monument..as a piece of our history..

9/n The Red Fort is not the Parliament of India where a core function of the electoral process was being undertaken..no law makers were under siege..no display of party affiliations..they were good old country folk trying to assert themselves for the sake of there existence..
