Y'all, @DylanReeve has linked me to a couple old r/conspiracy threads that are GREAT resources for looking at how QAnon spread off of 4chan.

This one discusses drops 14-33 -- & yes, the discussion gets WILD at points (see screenshot), but:

You know what REALLY sticks out?

The Reddit crowd, too -- at least at /r/conspiracy -- is pickin' up what Q puts down.

And they discussed 4chan LARPs often enough that one guy remarks:

That user has an *accurate* sense of how high-effort, & high-quality, Q's LARP was. This suggests that /r/conspiracy was discussing 4chan LARPs on a semi-regular basis (and probably shared a lot of users with /pol/; this casually antisemitic comment would be right at home there).

So if /pol/ stuff was routinely being discussed on Reddit, then, my gut instinct is that someday a LARP was almost guaranteed to jump the wall between 4ch and Reddit, and from there to the wider Internet.

*But* that's just an instinct! It can't be tested or, honestly, trusted.

At least not as gospel. Mistakes are possible!

Anyway, let me wrap this up by explaining WHY this thread is such a big deal.

I don't know for sure that it's the very first time Reddit discussed Q. I do know it HAS to be very, very CLOSE to the first time.

This is happening *a few days* into Q's posting career, and only a couple of days after Q came to the anons' notice at all. This is, if not THE beginning of Q's mega-spread, as close as you can get.
