Let’s talk about Anker. I’ve been watching them as well.
There are a lot of small electric brands on Amazon, but Anker is now in Target, Walmart, and Costco. It’s a name people know and trust. Why? https://twitter.com/aoverk/status/1353881090163961858

They started out small and relatively focused - charging cables and battery packs.
BUT
They stood out by always adding their +1. Focusing on using their relationship with their suppliers to build chargers that lasted longer. Stayed at a decent price without being cheap.

They listened to their customers and offered excellent customer service, standing by their products.
They even built a community of customers and continue to allow super fans to beta test new products, gathering feedback and iterating before new products come to market.

This was iffy at first, but as they expanded into other home electronics, they quickly realized that they needed spin off other brands to continue a clear message of value in each space.

All brands under the same company but able to own a clear position in each space. Clear position of value and reliability on each product always.
And from the beginning, instead of simply dropshipping some charging cables, making the effort and doing the research to make things better and then clearly communicate what they improved and why.
It’s clear that Anker made a decision from the beginning to not just be an Amazon seller but to be a known and trusted BRAND.
And that strategy has paid dividends and opened doors.

And I say this as a longtime customer. I’ve bought, returned, re-purchased, and used the warranty on multiple items and have always been nothing but satisfied.
